Library Assistant II - 1 POST
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• To arrange books in a logical order;
•To amend torn books;
•To file library cards;
•To repair of torn books;
• To stamp library books;
• To shelve library books; and
•To perform any other duties as may be assigned by higher authority
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Holders of Form IV Examination Certificate with Certificate in Library Studies provided by the board of library services or equivalent certificate.
REMUNERATION

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Typing confidential information
• Maintaining register for file movement
• Attending telephone calls and taking messages
• Preparing workers' meeting’s agenda, arrangement of meeting venue as well as report writing of the meetings
• Sorting out files in order of urgency before giving them to the officer concerned for action
• Receiving and attending visitors
• Making appointment for visitors
• Ensuring that office materials are well maintained
• Preparing and submitting requisition for office materials.
• Any other duties as may be assigned by higher authority,
QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE
Holder of IVNI with full Secretarial Certificate grade II and Short Hand capacity in English and Swahili 80 wpm or equivalent Secretarial Training from recognized Institution and Computer knowledge in windows, MS DOS internet operation and publisher.

• To carry out consultancy and service job assignments under close supervision
• Any other duties as may be assigned by the Superior
QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE
Holder of Bachelor Degree or its equivalent in Social Work and Labour Laws/Laws with GPA not below 3.8.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Assisting in lecturing and tutorial seminars
Carrying out Consultancy in Research and service job assignment including data collection under close supervision Setting examinations, invigilating, marking and timely production of examination result Preparing teaching materials for tutorials and' exercises including case studies
Conducting lecturers with guidance of senior lecturers
Any other duties as may be assigned by the higher authority
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Master degree with GPA not below 3.5 in Social Work, Labour Laws/Laws or related field in Social Sciences and GPA of not below 3.8 in Bachelor Degree or Advanced Diploma Teaching experience will be an added advantage.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• To lecture students
• To assist students to develop their research and project work
• Setting examinations, invigilating, marking and timely production of examination results
• To supervise research and undertake consultancy work
• To plan and design training exercises for students
• To supervise students pursuing research and field work
• To prepare manuals simulations and case studies for students "
• To work on consultancy projects
• To coach junior academic staff.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Holders of PhD Degree in Social Work, Human Resource Management, Labour Laws/Laws or related field in Social Sciences through competitive process who preferably have had training in teaching methodology and work experience in teaching, research and consultancy of at least two years in similar position. Must have published at least four peer-reviewed

• To keep proper records of all students admission matters; and

Associate Professor - 1 POST
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• To review methodology content and quality of academic programmes for the purpose of improving quality of graduates; To teach up to NTA level 1 0;
• To carry out special instructional activities requiring high Degree of competence and technological expertise and experience;
• To participate in planning, development, controlling and running of the curriculum;
• To design and oversee construction of research equipment;
• To assist students in building up their practical and research projects;
• To plan and design training exercises for students;
• To provide on the job training to junior staff;
• To supervise and guide post-graduate students and other members of staff;
• To carry-out and supervise research activities;
• To provide advisory services to the public;
• To prepare and publish technical papers and books in relevant fields;
• To take lead in Research and Consultancy and Community Service jobs;
• To mentor Junior Academic Staff in writing and publishing skills.
• To undertake academic administration duties, and
• To perform any other duties as assigned by higher authority.
QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE
Holder of similar position in related or allied institution with PhD Degree in SocialWork, Human Resource Management, Labour Laws/Laws or related field in Social Sciences, eligible for registration as technical teacher.
Or
Holder of Doctorate (PhD) Degree in Social Work, Human Resource Management, Labour L,aws/Laws or related field in Social Sciences, eligible to be registered as a technical teacher with at least 10 years experience in research and must have published at least ten peer reviewed papers;
Or
Holder of Doctorate (PhD) Degree in Social Work, Human Resource management, labour laws/ laws or related field in social sciences, eligible to be registered as technical teachers with experience research at least twenty years and must have published at least twenty consultancy research reports of the academic and professional appreciable depth in the relevant field
