POSITION DESCRIPTION: From Mwananchi, 5th Feb 2016 The National Social Security Fund {NSSF) which is the leading provider of social security service in Tanzania is hereby inviting applications from suitably qualified, dynamic and motivated Tanzanians to immediately fill vacant positions currently existing in the Fund. Department of Security 1. Positions: Assistant Security Officer (CCTV OPERATOR) Duties and Responsibilities 1. Conduct surveillance in Fund buildings.
2. Safeguard Fund interests by protecting its assets and taklng preventive and investigative measures in accordance with the laid down principles/regulations and prevailing circumstance.
3. Assist in enforcing relevant security policies and procedures.
4 Facilitate prevention and investigation of illegal and unauthorized transactions.
5. Monitor physical security and safety facilities at Fund buildings
6. Prepare daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly inspection reports
7. Perform such other related duties as may be assigned by the supervisor from time to time Educational Qualification and work experience
• Diploma Certificate or its equivalent
• Training or exposure in Security will be an added advantage Skills and competence
• Computer literacy.
• Excellent communication skills.
