TITLE: TRAVEL CONSULTANT/OFFICE ASSISTANT
INDUSTRY: TRAVEL/TOURISM
LOCATION: DAR-ES-SALAAM (APPLICANT MUST BE READY AND WILLING TO TRAVEL)
GENDER: PREFERABLY FEMALE TO PROMOTE GENDER BALANCE AT WORK
Responsibilities and Duties:
Assisting the Managing Director
Prepare and send quotation to clients (after approval)
Coordinate and Liaise with hotels and airlines for rates and special offers
Update clients on a weekly basis on safaris and special offers
Marketing through client visits
Overseeing bookings, airport transfers and safaris
Liaise with drivers during and after safaris
Any other related duties as assigned
Requirements and Qualifications:
Minimum 3 years experience in Travel Industry as a travel consultant
Must be a university graduate, a long working experience with a Diploma Level will be considered
Computer skills with knowledge and experience on using Ms word, Ms Excel and Power point
Great communication skills with fluency in both written and spoken English and Swahili, knowledge of foreign language will be an added advantage
