PUBLIC NOTICE

ISLAMIC REPUBLIC OF IRAN SCHOLARSHIPS-2016/17

1. Introduction
Applications are invited from qualified Tanzanians for Masters programs tenable in the
Islamic Republic of Iran for the year 2016/2017.
2. Field of study
 Health Sciences,
 Industrial Engineering,
 Agriculture,
 Information Communication Technology, and
 Environmental Sciences.
3. Qualifications
Applicants for Master’s degree must:
 Have a Bachelor degree with a GPA of not less than 3.5 (This is not applicable for
Health Sciences),
 Submit verified academic certificates and transcripts,
 Submit copies of birth certificate and passport,
 Be in good health,
 Indicate their contact address including reliable telephone numbers and e-mail
address.
4. Zanzibar applicants
Zanzibar applicants must channel their applications through the Coordination Unit of the
Ministry of Education and Vocational Training –Zanzibar.
5. Requirements
Applicants must:
 Complete the attached application forms,
 Submit certified copies of academic certificates issued by an institution recognized
and accredited by the Tanzania Commission for Universities (TCU) or The National
Council for Technical Education (NACTE),
 Submit two recent passport size photographs taken not more than six months of the
date of application,
 Submit three recommendation letters issued by persons well conversant with the
applicant’s academic records and
 Submit a medical certificate providing the status of the applicant’s health.

7. Deadline
All applications should be submitted by 6th May, 2016. Applications received after this date
will not be considered.
